Palletshifter is the online pallet distribution service for Europe and the UK provided by Jack Richards and Son Ltd.
The Jack Richards success storey started in 1956, in 1993 we joined the then fledgling Palletline network,
which set out to provide the ability for independent haulage companies to collaborate and offer a cost efficient and reliable pallet distribution service.
As a founding member we are proud to still be here, Palletline UK and its European network PEG offer in our opinion one of the largest and most sustainable networks in the logistics industry.
We offer a self managed web-based shipping solution service to key Europe destinations (not all), and the British Isles.
Good news! Our European services requires no paperwork of form filling, just book online and we do the rest and remember unique to us the price for import stays the same as export
Please try our easy to use Quick Quote facility(no registration required) to obtain a great price. We calculate our prices based on the collection postcode, delivery postcode, pallet dimensions and weight.
Note normal delivery hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday - Friday.
UK DELIVERY TIMES
The Palletline network members will schedule in the collection of your consignment between 09:00 and 17:00.
We are unable to commit to timed collections, we will endeavour to meet a requested time but this cannot be guaranteed.
No same day collections are available orders must be placed before 11.30am. Note the classification of Premium means the day after the order has been placed onto the web page. Example:
Premium service required for the fastest delivery time to Leeds. The collection is requetsed before 11.30am by placing the order on the web page. The collection will then take place the following day (day two)
delivery will be completed the next working day (day three).
Note if the order is placed after 11.30 then the system will move the all date's forwards by 24hrs.
The reason for this service is because businesses and customers are often not at the premises or are not expecting us. We want to avoid mistakes and the extra charges we send you for failed collection attempts are reduced and it helps both the collecting member and the collection point.
